Hello all, well here's the story. Listening to this man's story broke my heart, and it scared me. To think that elderly homelessness is on the rise, it's crazy in a country that's supposed to be so rich and still can't afford to feed the hungry and house the homeless is crazy. Anyway, looking at his story and a few others like that got my a** in gear and thinking I have medical issues that cost a lot each month. My medical bills are a constant bill in my life that I have to pay along with my other basic bills. Having seen these stories and those of people being laid off, and the food banks having more people than they have food. Made me think of tightening up my cheapskate shelf and really paying attention to my bills and the money coming into my household. That's one place I don't want to be, and it's homeless, especially with all my medical problems, and I have a few of them. This was a slap of reality to me after spending on stuff that I really don't need, and I waste a lot of food just because. It all will be stopping starting today. I am blessed, but that can all change in the blink of an eye. Nothing like a wake-up call to get your butt in gear..
So that's my story what do you think?
