Cancelled

Hello All well here's my story so far. I am not even suppose to be talking to you today. What I am suppose to be doing is gambling and drinking my butt off in Atlantic City.  I had to cancelled my mini trip because of the big snow storm that New York was suppose to have on Tuesday. What we got in  New York was  light snow and rain . Some Snowstorm! .   Now A.C will not see me until April.  The real reason  I go is because my mother lives down there and I kill two birds with one stone I visit her and gamble a little all for the price of  getting there which cost me about $60 bucks including gas and tolls on the bridges.

My D**N mechanic ain't worth his weight in beans. This is what happen we have a car that has cost us about $3000 in repairs. Yes I know we need to sell it and we will , But we gave the car to our mechanic because he needed to fix a problem  with the car that he made.  Our Mechanic or shall I say Ex-mechanic keeps our car for 4 months setting in his shop. Then he had the nerve to return it to us stating that he could not fix it. When he said that I wanted to strangle him. Why did you keep my car so long if you knew you could not fix it in the first place? I could have had someone else look at it in the time that your lazy A** kept it. 

Other then that I am trying to liquidate all of my doll collection and toys that we bought as collectors. Know anybody who likes Vintage Babies, Marvel legends & Hot Wheels?

 Hello All, I have been watching these video about people living in their vans full-time and working to travel. I think I could do this for about a mouth or two but realistically I need  to stay in one place. I could defiantly live in a tiny house somewhere. What do you think about Van living?

                                                           Hello All Happy March 1th.

Next The Challenges for January Dollar A Day, Coupon Challenge and Coin Challenge was Good, Bad and down right Ugly. The Good The Dollar A Day Challenge I made $108 for the month of January. The Not To Bad  Was The Coin Challenge I save $50 bucks in coins for February.

The Ugly The coupon Challenge was zero. I could not find coupons to used so that I could save $$.

Next Thing was that I was feigning for a trip this year. I think I got cruise fever. So I looked on line and find an Ok deal when it came to a Thanksgiving Cruise out of New York. For two people it will cost me about $4500. But it's for 14 days and we will be getting  $240 back in onboard credit, specialty dinning, free internet, free cruise phone usage( whatever that is) $100 per port  tour credit. We can use this to go sight seining almost free. The person that we spoke to when booking this cruise was very helpful and she really pointed out ways for us to save $$.

It's Over The chocolate 28 day challenge is over. I did not have one piece of chocolate for the month of February and I am proud of myself. Let's see what I can get rid of for March. I am thinking bread.

Movies

Hello All. Well here's the story for the week. This will be short and sweet. A friend of mind told me that she wanted to take her kids to see The Black Panther Movie. The tickets were on sale for 418 each. That would have been $126 for 7 people. For  just the movie no popcorns, soda, hotdog just a seat for 2 hours. She was luck and got the tickets with a coupons for $9 each which cost her $63. That was still expensive but it was better then paying $126.

My question is when did the movies became so expensive? I remember movies use to cost me 75 cents  when I was growing up then it went to $3. Last time I went to the movies it cost me $8 not $18. That is why I will wait until this movie comes out in the library on DVD. I get to see this movie for free. I will spend the $18 might be less  that people spend just to see it in the theater  on dinner and a movie  junk food. That way I can watch this movie in the comfort of my own home and I can pause it because I go to the bathroom a lot.

Now You Tell Me!!

Hello All well here's the story for the week. First Happy Presidents Day. Now on to what's going on.  First I am happy to say after 2 months of collecting coins. I managed to save $50 bucks worth. Which I wrapped today because I am to cheap to use the Constar machines at the grocery store. They charge to much just to count your coins. I can save the money and do it myself. This money will be going in my Kellogg's stock. You know the stock that I try and put $25 dollars in to once a month. I collect my coins and invest them when I get $25 dollars of course.

Also today I got a call from my dentist. I love my dentist been with her for 15 years she's just that good. And to be truthful I hate going to the dentist but with my dentist the trips and procedures are not so bad. Anyway I get a call from the dentist telling me that my insurance did not go through and they even called my insurance company for me. They told my dentist that my birth date was incorrect on the insurance form...... But you have been paying my dentist for the last 3 years that I have been using this insurance company so now you tell me I have a birth date problem?

When I personally called the insurance company they told me that yes my birth date is wrong but they could not tell me how wrong it was. I would have to call my employer since I am on a group policy so my employer can correct my birth date on there end.  Thank god they gave my dentist the ok to do my teeth this week even with the birth date problem.

I hate dealing with insurance companies they will screw you if you let them.

Oh well that's been my week quite and frustrating. What do you think? 

This Is HArd....

Hello All Well here's my story so far. It's Hard.  I am on a no chocolate  eating for the month of February it's a short month so I figure I can do this. Wrong you just don't know how much you crave stuff  until you stop eating it. I need my chocolate but I am fighting the good fight so far.

They took my money- I looked on my credit card bill and I saw that my door man charged  me the $500 that I owed him. I thought since his men where here doing the last adjustments on my doors and windows that I ordered. When they left they forgot to ask me for the $500  I owed them  So I figured that it was a wash since I had already paid them most of the money for my windows and doors  anyway. Not the case they took the last $500 I owed them off of my  credit card. Well darn you think they could have called me first to tell me without me having to find it out by looking at my credit card statement.

Making Money it's going well for me I managed to get about $90 in mystery shopping for my challenges and $75 in my online stores for the month of February. This is turning out to be a good month for me when it comes to my challenges . You know the $1 a day one.

Water Bill- I just got my water bill for the month of January.For 3 months the bill was $103.15 this bill belongs to my rental that I have but darn that's a lot of  money for  plain water for 3 months. It did go down last time I paid the bill it was $230.  Thank god my tenant is  paying  because if I had to pay for this out of my own pocket I would trying to use water like twice a week at most. I remember when my water bill was just $78 dollars every 3 months back in the day.
