Hello all, well here is the story for the month of April so far. It was a good and bad month. Tell you why. I was supposed to go on a mini-vacation last week. But it was going to rain. So, I decided not to go because I had to drive there. I hate driving in nasty rainstorms. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't go because the water pipe in my basement suddenly busted. Causing water to rush out fast and onto my basement floor. The pipe that busted was hooked up to the main city water pipes outside, and it was flowing heavy because of the water pressure. Thankfully, I was home, and we caught it in time. That was the good news
The bad news was that we had to get a plumber in to replace the pipe that broke. He also had to fix our second bathroom. Which cost about $1900. Did I mention for a plumber at least where I live to just walk into your home it $150 bucks. Thankfully, we had the vacation money. So I used that to pay the plumber. But imagine if we had gone on vacation and the water pipe had busted. What kind of basement swimming pool would we have had when we came back? Not to mention all the things we store in the basement, like our inventory of stuff we sell online, would be ruined.
These things happen, I know, but thank God we were home to prevent a bigger problem.
So that's my story what do you think?
