Still Tired

Hey Everyone. Well here's my story for today. I am still tired from shoveling all that snow on Sunday. My body hurts so I decided to stay in all day and do nothing.
I am glad to report that I made $5.50 from selling a book. Yea I could use that money because since I started the $20 challenge nothing has been added to it until now. Not  for lack of trying I have two things that  I am working on hopefully it will bring me in some money we will see.
Well that's my story for today it's short and sweet. So what do you think?
 

Snow 2016

Good Evening Everyone. As you can see  from the pictures and since I live in New York. We  had  a Major snowstorm over the weekend. Everything is either closed or stopped running here. The cops are giving out tickets if they catch you on the street with your cars. It's just to dangerous to move with all this snow right now. Guess what I will be doing come Sunday morning. This is one of the reason's why I want to leave New York after living here for so many years you get tired of shoveling snow and other stuff to. Don't get me wrong I look at shoveling as free exercise but you can only take so much of it each and every year. Oh well nothing new to add but a whole lota snow. So what do you think?

Reason I Love Vegas

Good Evening Everyone. Here's my story for today. Snow Storms are expensive. I live in New York and this weekend we are expecting a snow storm.says our weatherman but most of the time their wrong. But I still  ran out today to get the basics of what I needed before the storm if we really have one comes it. I got  basic grocery items and  a big bag of snow melt cost me $50 bucks. In New York if you don't shovel and put salt on your side walks with in 72 hours after the last snow fall  you get a ticket.So there goes more money out of my pocket because of Mother Nature.

I got good news today I received my tax statement from a stock that I own  I was surprised to find  I had more money in it then I thought. Which is good on my part because I had not been making any stock payment in that account for a while. I just let the dividend reinvestment plan the company offers  put the stocks for me.
Right now I am still working on my money Challenges and my diet. I am a diabetic as I told you I suck at it. But I am  trying to get better at eating right and getting up off my lazy a** to work out. Got any suggestion for me on this? That's my story what do you think?

I Am A Jackass

Good Evening Everyone. Here's the story for the week. I am a pure dee Jackass and I need this award and I will tell you why. My dumb ass spend not $5 or $20 on powerball  tickets when it was in the 1.5 billion dollar range. I spent $100 bucks. What the hell was I thinking. I know that  I never win any big prizes with lottery I am lucky if I win $5 dollars. But I did win something out of the  $100. I spent. I won $9 freaking dollars. So I am down $91 dollars. OK, you can agree with me I need this Jackass Award.

I must think  I am still working and getting a regular paycheck to spend that kinda money. which I am not. I can't even save enough coins for my challenges right now. So spending a $100 bucks to make the lottery organization  richer then there already is  so just damn dumb on my part.

I was so depressed after all of this I am off buying stuff that I do not need and really can't afford. So that's my story for today. What do you think??

Not My Week

Good evening everyone, Here's my story for today. You sister didn't  hit the big powerball win, if I did I would not be telling you my story right now. I would still be in celebration mode. But I hear that there are a lot small powerball  winners out there hopefully I am one of them. I am also feeling kinda bummed today because I am in the middle of the second week  of my $20 dollar challenge and nothing...... I have not find anything to add to my challenge money wise and I am getting bummed about it.  That's my short  to the point story what do you think?

Good Evening Everyone. Here's the story for today. I got some depressing news from my doctor today. He said that my diabetic numbers are still too high. Mind you I take the insulin shot daily. But I know why I still have high number it's because I suck at being a diabetic. I have known for 2 years now that I was a diabetic but my lifestyle of eating sweets, salt and all the right junk food has never changed. I thought if I take  the medication I will be alright. Not!

So today I decided to change my lifestyle of eating bad food and start taking the eating the right  food step one day at a time. First no more cakes, cookies, I love that stuff. But I realize if I do not stop now I might not get a second chance to stop later know what I mean. So what I am trying to do is change my lifestyle on the cheap. Hey I never said I was about spending a lot of money on becoming healthy. I already spend a lot on the medication. So the food part of it has to be cheap. Got any suggestions and what do you think?

Good Morning Everyone. Well here's the story for the week. I am sure by now you have heard that the powerball is up to 1.3 billion dollars making your take home about 800 million if you win. You know that even though I practice being a cheapskate I had to get in this crazy money game for $25. So I spend my whole lottery allowance on some tickets. Think about it, even if I win 2 or 3rd prize. I have made my money back that I spent on the game. But  the downside to that  are my chances of winning is high and I also spent my whole  lottery monthly allowance one on shot at winning big.

Also this is the first full week of my $20 dollar challenge and I have not found anything or anyways to add to it. I am starting to get depressed but I will push on since it's only been a week.

I have been looking into finding a part-time job, but I think since I have been out of work for 2 years now I have gotten lazy. I mean I keep thinking do I really want to get up early in the morning and go to someone's job to take the crap I had to take before because I needed my good city job? I am still thinking on that.
So that's my story what do you think??

Cold as Ice

Good Evening Everyone. Well here's my story for the first week of the New Year. Me and staples have called it quits! That’s right I called it over why because when you purchase their products and they break down. You can not go to them to get it replaced. I had a paper shredder for 2 years that I purchased. But when I needed this machine the most it stops working. So I take it back to staples and they give me a 1800 number ad tell me they do not take back stuff in their stores. They kept asking me if I have a warranty and did I purchase the extra coverage on the machine. You know I didn't but for a machine to only last 2 years are crazy.

So I called their 1800 number and I go tithe run around, but finally I spoke to a manger who told me a way that I can fix the machine myself. I did that and he is also sending me a $30 credit toward my next machine with staples. I really would have like a gift card to use someplace else. But I get what I get. So now that I know how staples do things I will not be buying anything of importance from their company again.  So what do you think??

Good Morning

Good Morning Everyone. Well the Holidays are over and now it's time to get down to the serious stuff and that's making money and living my life to the fullest. First for the New Year I was blessed  while I was cleaning my house and getting rid of so much paper I found $150.00 that I must have put away and forgot about. I also was able to roll another $10 in coins that I had saved. So the New Year started off right for me because I got $160.00. Hope  the rest of 2016 is as good money wise as the first day was.
I am happy to report that I have started my money challenges for 2016  it's the 20 dollar challenge that I always wanted to do and the coin investment challenge is on going. So what money challenges are you doing this year??
Also I might try and get a job again....... at Sears I saw that they have the location and the department that I want to work in. I might go for it, my partner feels that I don't need a job I could start my own business and do side jobs just to make extra money. I am thinking about it. What do you think? The part time Sears jobs will not be just for the money it will give me a reason to get up and out. To socialize with people more then I have been doing since I left my job.
